TESL International was established in 1994, in Toronto. We are an
educational centre that specializes in the training of individuals to teach English as a Second/Foreign Language (TESL). In
early 1995, TESL International moved its offices to Vancouver, British Columbia. We are a registered institution with the
Private Post-Secondary Education Commission of British Columbia. We are also a recognized educational institution by Human
Resources Canada. Moreover, we are a member institution of the British Columbia Career Colleges Association and the Better
Business Bureau of Mainland British Columbia. We offer our program part-time, full-time, and via correspondence. The program
of study is intensive in nature and provides successful graduates with the knowledge and expertise to effectively teach English
as a Second/Foreign Language. Graduates from our centre have found work in a variety of countries around the world. The following
pages will answer some of the most commonly asked questions regarding our program and will give more details about both the
academic and administrative aspects of the programs we offer.
